Personal data: Know thyself | The Economist

The Economist rather briefly touches on the potentials of Personal Data Lockers and a number of slightly strange unsubstantiated ‘dangers’.  One of them is that users would have to “claw at ” the service providers to get their data back, which we see is not actually the case; service providers (such as Barclays, etc) seem more than happy to provide people with dumps of their data.
